Counseling Rate

I charge $175 (for all new clients beginning April 1, 2024) for a full hour of our time together as individuals. Changes will be added for shorter session fees (as of March 19, 2024). I accept personal checks, cash, and invoice each session through Square. I accept OHP HealthShare. I do not accept private insurance or other Care Oregon plans (such as Trillium). I can provide documentation for FSA reimbursement and Super Bills if your insurance will reimburse you for out of network behavioral health/mental health care.

(((ONGOING AS OF March 19, 2024: I regrettably cannot accept sliding scale clients- all available sliding scale space is full. I will update this when space becomes available. I value all of us having access to quality, caring support. You can always ask for a copy of my policy on this. It’s not hard-core. My goal is to help, not hinder, people getting the support they deserve.**Please check back for updates monthly or so…..**)))

To schedule your free initial appointment with me, call, text or email me. Recently (as of March 2024), I seem to respond most quickly via email- must be how my brain is organized! Calls and texts will also work. If for some reason you don’t hear back from me, please stay patient and try again. I know there have been many instances of providers being overwhelmed with the amount of helping we are trying to do, and that has meant not hearing back from folks. I choose to believe that not getting a call back isn’t personal, it is simply evidence of more work than there is time in the day, and ALL of it is important, even a inquiry. In the middle of busy work weeks it can be regrettably missed or accidentally forgotten. Your reach for support is important and I DO want to reach back and support in any way I can.

I will typically return your inquiry within a week- or sometimes two- it’s still a very busy time in the world of mental wellbeing, and you matter. The reply time used to be much sooner, and I hope it will be that way again soon.
